So what breed are these small red and black Cows? What about the Sheep?

These cattle, believe it or not, are from America! over there, they are bred in rough terrain with very little attention, which makes for a very easy-to-keep cow. They are a cross of 4 breeds: Hereford (from England)and Angus(from Scotland) for the native benefit hardiness, and amazing quality marbled meat, and Simmental (from Switzerland) and Gelbiveh (from Germany)for good growth, size and milk production.

Sheep are bred a bit closer to home, but similar to the cows, we have a few crosses. We've crossed the native Welsh and Lleyn breeds with other well-shaped and fast-growth breeds.

When they eat their natural diet, which is pasture, you've got unbeatable quality meat!
